Seniors.
Training for the Seniors starts 1/02/10 at 6.30pm, anyone interested in trying out please contact Ryan Haynes.
Goal Keeping Course.
There will pre-season goalkeeping courses with Chris Higgins on 26/03/10 & 9/04/10, members of the Torrens Valley Soccer Club can train for free, however, we welcome players from other clubs to train at a cost of $10 per person, limited places may apply so please be quick in placing your interest, see contacts.
Pitch Restoration Program.
Work has continued during January this year with the top dressing of sand and vertidraining (spiking) to help promote the growth of the grass, hopefully we can get fertilizer and weed killer down soon, this will make the perfect playing surface, one to be envied upon by the other Hills soccer clubs.
Floodlights.
With the success of the clubs grant application we will also be soon erecting the new floodlights which will aid in the night training sessions, as some of you will remember the existing lights have been troublesome with training only happening on half of the pitch due to the continual failure of 2 of the lights.
Back net.
The Southern end of the pitch will soon have a new back net and fence, this will help in catching those wayward shots at goal!
Irrigation.
The newly installed irrigation system continues to work well with only a few minor problems, this is proving to be very successful for the growth of the grass as you will notice at the start of the season.
