--------------------------------------------------------------------- Taken from a statement by Ryan Haynes last year below: It has been a difficult year thus far for the Torrens Valley senior’s team as we are presently in a rebuilding phase due to the loss of several key players from last season’s mid table finishing side. Injuries are ever present and our lack of depth is showing in our results. However, although the results haven’t been going our way there has been significant improvements in our performances. We managed a very gallant performance against the table topping ‘Simba’ coming away with a 2 – 2 draw. We look ahead to a very promising last 2/3 of the year to improving our position on the table and binding even further as a team. As a whole the club is slowly moving forward due to much work by the committee, significant support is needed by parents and supporters to help with many ongoing projects within the club. Without this help the club cannot move forward. Updates will be ongoing and make sure to continually check our new website. Stayed tuned. Training has now commenced for the 2010 season. Seniors training has started, pre-season, Mondays & Wednesdays, start time 7.00pm, anyone interested please attend. To add much needed depth to our squad we are extending an open invitation to anyone interested in joining the senior’s team. We are also hoping to retain the services of our developing youth over the coming years to build both a successful juniors and seniors club.
